About this site:
This site was created on
12/29/06, after a nightmare
dealing with a problem on a
G5, and the shock of being
told that my $300 warranty
wasn't any good since I did
not call it in during the
normal warranty period.
I also had the joy of
discovering that the version
of Techtools that was
supplied with my extended
warranty destroyed the
operating system when you
followed the instructions on
what to do before you could
call support. I was
even more shocked when I
found out that apple knows
about the problem, and could
only say, "sorry."
This site is NOT
about the folks in tech
support, who were very nice
and patiently worked with me
over a six day period
restoring my system.
"Hey!"
This site's goal is to
change apple's way of
handling these issues so
other will not have to
suffer what I had to go
through.

The Problem. After you purchase your apple and the $60-$350 extended warranty you feel pretty good. At some point after the regular warranty expires you call to report something or ask a question.
If you have not called prior and registered the warranty, the nightmare begins, and we hope you have your original receipt.
How Can I Help?
Take the survey in the upper left hand side of this page. This will provide us with the information and data to present to apple.
It is our hope that by presenting the information to apple, they will change their practices and policies.
We will publish the results of the survey (with any personal information removed) so that others, and apple, can see what users are experiencing
